BY AGNES MA, Marketing Manager of The Mira Hong Kong
Agnes Ma, the social-media savvy marketing manager of The Mira Hong Kong, is as passionate about her job as she is about the city she lives in. A local Hong Konger with Thai roots, she’s a chef’s daughter, a foodie and a devoted Instagrammer who – if not busy scouting new “it” restaurants and bars – typically spends her weekends cooking up a storm at her own kitchen in Sai Kung. She wouldn’t trade living in Hong Kong for any other place in the world, except Bali perhaps.
So, if you love food – and we know you do – here are the top five restaurants you need to eat at in Hong Kong!
Art Basel Hong Kong may be in full swing but we all get hungry browsing gallery displays at some point, don't we? Don't miss the unique chance to try culinary art plated at #whiskHK and paired with artful Tuscan wines by Bibi Graetz available till 26/03 only exclusively at #themirahotel. #Repost @hashtag_legend ・・・ Have your art and eat it too: Art-inspired dining to look out for in March. #dailylegend #art #artbasel #artbaselhk #artbaselhongkong #food #foodie #foodporn #foodstagram #eat #nomnom #hongkong #travel #awesome #igdaily #amazing #instafun #design #yum #delicious
I love Chef Lai Kam Kuen’s stir-fry and his seafood dishes have always been one of my favorites in town when it comes to Vietnamese food. The signature king prawn is succulently tasty and is an absolute must-try for anyone dining at An Nam Hong Kong!
2. Lily & Bloom
I love their extensive drink list, which features cool and classic cocktails. Not to mention, the kitchen serves food till 2 a.m. Seriously, what’s not to love about Lily & Bloom?
With magnificent views of Victoria Harbor in every direction, Aqua serves some of the best cuisine, and views, Hong Kong has to offer!
If dim sum really means, “touch the heart”, then Cuisine Cuisine, located inside The Mira Hong Kong, serves true gourmet dim sum that makes my heartthrob with each succulent bite. The exquisite dishes are paired with some of the very best that its wine cellar has to offer. It is simply heavenly!
The homemade pasta is made fresh with organic Italian eggs and should not be missed. Needless to say, AMMO serves some of the best cocktails of the city!
