On March 9, the world got real excited for the new MacBook. It’s neither called a Pro or an Air. It’s simply…MacBook.

Two new standard configurations will start shipping on April 10: 1.1 GHz dual-core Intel Core M processor will be available for $1,299 with Intel HD Graphics 5300 and a 256 GB of flash storage and 8 GB of memory. The other version at $1,599 will offer 1.2 GHz and doubles the storage.

4. Higher resolution allows travel pics that POP!

With 2304 x 1440 resolution, the new MacBook delivers text and media much clearer and better than MacBook Air’s 1440 x 900 resolution. Your travel photos will pop, as they should and you can create albums that are so real, they will take you straight back to your trips.
