BY JST NEWS

The traveler had minimal baggage which included two plastic shopping bags. What caused suspicion, however, was the strange way he walked. It seemed as though his limbs were stiff with nervous muscles, as if he was attached to some sort of heavy items.

After the search, security officers discovered 94 iPhones (which included iPhone 6 models) strapped all over his body, including his torso, groin and legs.

The man already had issues at the border in recent history, he is now detained in China. It’ still unclear how he attained so many iPhones in the first place.

Although smuggling iPhones into China isn’t news, the number of how many this man brought is astounding, valued at more than $49,000.

iPhones are available at the Apple Stores in China, but an iPhone 6’s street market value can be as high as thousands of dollars.
