On Tuesday night, 76 passengers and four crew on a Flybe airplane Bombardier Dash 8 Q400 had quite a dramatic experience flying from Scotland to Northern Ireland. The plane made an emergency landing at Belfast International Airport after the engine caught fire.

According to Belfast Telegraph,

Some were forced to jump six feet from the back doors as there were no steps.

The exact cause of fire is yet to be determined but passengers sitting near the engine that caught fire panicked.   Flybe released a statement indicating that “the plane was diverted due to a small engine fire, which was extinguished before landing.”
